WHY ARE WE HERE?
Mission: Creating disciples who are rooted in their faith and capable of carrying on their beliefs and obedience to Christ into adulthood
WHERE ARE WE GOING?
Vision: Rooted seeks to shepherd students so they can later flourish in their colleges and workplaces fueled by Biblical teaching and mentorships developed in High School
Sunday School: 10:45am-12:15- Includes prayer, game, and lesson taught by Spencer Thorpe. The current series is called “base camp” which explores many important truths found in the Canon of Scripture. Topics include, angels, demons, the Trinity, repentance, Christ, and many other important fundamentals of the Christian faith.
Thursday Nights: 7:00-8:30pm – Thursday Nights include a time of high-energy icebreakers, small groups, and occasional worship themed nights. “Rooted” meets upstairs in the youth room and launches Thursday September 15th for the fall kickoff. The fall study focuses on the fact that students “will LIVE what they believe”
The overarching theme for youth ministry is that students will KNOW, SHARE, and LIVE what they believe.
